I have been coming to this restaurant for years with my family. Great food! Never disappoints. My mom has passed on as of 10 years ago and now I come with my dad. Still his first pick to eat mexican comfort food.

The place looks like a hole in the wall but looks are deceiving. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and welcoming. In from Houston and highly recommend this place.

Gordita de picadillo , gordita had too much butter and picadillo in gordita had too much grease as well. Tea was not that good. Carne guisada taco was great but a little pricey.

Just how I remember as a kid growing up and nights after drinking. Yummy as always! You can eat like Kings and Queens there for a good price.

Great food served by great people

Their menu is offensive by stating below the drinks that there's no free refill that it's not a fast food restuarant. All they have to say is no free refills. There're plenty of local and National chain restaurants that give free refills.

This place is a staple in Brownsville. With over 40 years of service IT service authentic food. Not commercialized food like you get at home. If you're looking for some upscale type restaurant this is not the place for you. If you're looking for her earthy down-home goodness this is the place you'll like. Speaking Spanish is a plus here.

Food is good, specially the flour tortillas! Mmmm.

I do love the food but the staff is less than professional. If you can be patient and not expect to be waited on....the food and price are worth it!!! Note ambience needs updating.

An institution in Brownsville, been there 40 years. Authentic Tex-Mex food, delicious homemade tortillas, super cheap, and open 24 hours.

I've gotten wayyyyy slower than I remember as a child but I usually only see 3 waitstaff totally. I will saw this though, I love the food 😍♥️♥️ it's home but give it some time (literally) .

Home style food!! At good prices, very cozy place.

I ordered the flour tortilla taco with chorizo and egg and it was really good! The tortilla is a perfect size and it doesn't get hard fast like it does in some other coffee shops. I recommend this place!
